What should I check before calling for HVAC repair?
Make sure the thermostat is set to heat or cool and calling for the right temperature. Check whether the thermostat needs batteries, the air filter is clean, the fuse or breaker is on, and fuel is available if your system uses LP gas or oil. If you are on a time-of-use electric program, confirm whether the air conditioner is being interrupted by the power company.
What should I do if my heating or cooling issue is urgent?
If your request is urgent, call Kurth Heating & Cooling at 715-723-2211 instead of relying only on the online service form. Calling helps route your request more directly when immediate attention is needed.
What happens when I call after hours for emergency service?
When you call 715-723-2211 after business hours, you will hear a recorded message with options. For emergency service, enter 3 to be transferred directly to the service technician on call.
How much does a service call cost?
We have a $120 diagnostic fee for a technician to visit your home and diagnose the problem. The technician will quote the repair price, including parts and labor, before completing the repair. After-hours diagnostic visits are $180. If you are outside the regular service area, call Kurth for pricing.

Kurth's Home Check & Clean Service is a residential maintenance service for heating and air conditioning equipment. That includes maintenance items for gas furnaces, air conditioners and heat pumps, oil furnaces, water heaters, electronic air cleaners, air exchangers, and humidifiers.
Can Kurth install a new furnace or air conditioner?
Yes. Kurth can help with heating system replacement, new construction heating installation, cooling system replacement, and new cooling system installation.
